Just went there this afternoon. Not all that impressed with the place. The web site reads like it would appeal to a younger, trendier, crowd with good taste. Instead, it caters to the sports crowd that *thinks* they are anti-Budweiser. The 40 beers on tap rotate (obviously), but is not quite the selection I thought they would have. The selection worth mentioning is really in the bottles on hand. The wait staff is not as knowledgeable about beer as the web site, again, claims to be. Asked for something different and new... I got Boddingtons. Please. And, the place is way out in west nowhere - who wants to drive out there for beer you can get at Trader Joe's?? I'll just go to Randall's on Jefferson if I want a selection.

Interesting article Scott, I need to print a copy and put it near my recipe board. I've only had a few infections in my brewing days, but I was able to figure out how most of them occurred...not sure I would need a DNA analysis :-)

Myra, I think getting the dishes done should count, but I'm not married to him so I doubt my vote counts.

So are you saying the painting, the basement, and the deck will be finished before this becomes a hobby? Or do you mean if you get the dishes done? ;)

You have got to be freaking kidding me! Well, my wife in in K.C. today. I think I'll call Lukas and see if they have any in stock yet.

Does Fechtel distribute to Jefferson City? I had heard that Jefferson City usually got a better supply of Anchor beers than Columbia. Not really sure why...
